Our services

For the people responsible for the plan, and the people in it.

Plan sponsor services

Fiduciary support and documentation

Every plan gets a dedicated, organized fiduciary folder: investment policy statement, quarterly fund performance reports, plan sponsor education, the annual plan health analysis, and the annual review and recommendations, kept current and audit-ready.

Plan design consulting

Safe harbor, vesting, eligibility, matching and profit-sharing formulas, auto-enrollment, and Roth provisions reviewed against what the company is trying to accomplish, with changes coordinated through your administrator.

Annual fee benchmarking and investment monitoring

Fees benchmarked every year against plans of similar size. The investment lineup scored each quarter against your investment policy statement using Fi360, with a written report and recommended actions where a fund falls short.

Recordkeeper and compliance coordination

Recordkeeper relationship management, TPA coordination, Form 5500 support, and regular plan health reviews with the plan sponsor. When a review points to a change, a documented recordkeeper search and project management of the conversion.

Participant services

On-site education and individual advising

Group presentations and individual Q&A, quarterly or semi-annually, at your office or virtually, plus one-on-one meetings so each employee understands their own retirement picture.

Proactive outreach

Year-round outreach to drive engagement. We do not wait for open enrollment; we stay in front of your team through the year.

Custom enrollment site and plan content

A branded Participant Hub for your plan in English and Spanish, with a plan video, Plan Highlights, enrollment steps, and recordkeeper links, built from your plan's actual provisions and kept current.

Planning tools and advisor access

Every participant gets access to RightCapital to model retirement and track progress, and a direct line to the advisors on the plan with same-day response during business hours.

The 401(K) plan review

All we need is your company's name.

01

Pick a time

Choose a meeting slot and tell us the name of your company. That is all we ask of you before we meet.

02

We do the homework

Before the meeting, we review your plan's public Form 5500 filing where one is available and prepare a benchmark report on fees, plan design, and participation.

03

Walk through it together

In the meeting we go through what we found and what, if anything, is worth a closer look. The decisions stay yours.

Questions we get asked

Frequently asked questions

What does a retirement plan advisor do for my company?

The recordkeeper runs the plan's accounts and administration. An independent advisor works for the plan's fiduciaries: benchmarking fees, monitoring the investments, documenting committee decisions, consulting on plan design, and educating employees. We work alongside your recordkeeper and administrator rather than replacing them.

How do I know if our 401(k) fees are reasonable?

Plan fiduciaries are responsible for understanding what the plan pays and whether those fees are reasonable for the services received. A benchmarking review compares your plan's costs with plans of similar size.

Do we have to change recordkeepers to work with you?

No. We work with many recordkeepers. A review may confirm your current provider or identify alternatives to compare. The decision is always yours.

We have a committee. How do you work with it?

We prepare the agenda and materials, present the quarterly monitoring report and the fee benchmark, record minutes, and keep the fiduciary folder current between meetings. Most committees meet with us once a year in person and receive written updates each quarter.

Pick a time. We will do the homework.

Protect your business and your employees by starting your retirement plan review. Tell us your company's name and choose a meeting time. Before we meet, we review your plan's Form 5500 where one is available and prepare a benchmark report for the conversation.
